The Authority Welcomes a New Board Member

Governor Mike Beebe has made a new appointment to the Arkansas Science & Technology Authority’s Board of Directors: Gary Campbell. A retiree of the IBM Corporation, Campbell is now City Director and Vice Mayor of Fort Smith. He replaces Dr. Gary Phillips, whose term expired this year.

In addition, the Authority is welcoming back Dr. Collis Geren, Vice Provost for Research at University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and Dr. Beverly Dawkins Lyn-Cook, Senior Research Scientist at the Division of Personalized Nutrition and Medicine at National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR).

All three appointees will serve until 2013.
