The Rules Change at the Authority

The Arkansas Science & Technology Authority has made changes to two of its programs: The Research & Development Program and the Technology Development Program.

The Research & Development Tax Program Rules has been changed to reflect an increase. Total credits for qualified research expenditures, donations, and sales below cost shall be allowed up to one hundred percent(100%), an increase from the 50% established in the original version of the rule.

The Technology Development Program Rules has seen a similar change. As of April 12, 2008, the total maximum award for the development of a given technology has increased from $50,000 to $100,000.
