The Authority Welcomes Becky Hart

The Arkansas Science & Technology Authority is pleased to announce the addition of Becky Hart as Education Outreach Coordinator.

Becky Hart has been involved with technology in Arkansas education for twenty one years. She has been a classroom teacher, a network system administrator, and previous to joining the Authority, was the Director of Instructional Technology for the Hot Springs School District.

Throughout her career, she has provided professional development at numerous school districts, regional educational cooperatives, and state and national conferences. Her workshops and presentations have emphasized the importance of multimedia and visual literacy for classroom instruction as well as for student projects.

Becky has served on the steering committee of a task force for educational technology legislation and is currently serving as secretary of ARKSTE. She is also a coordinator of the well-regarded Hot Springs Technology Institute conference, held each year.

Becky has a BSBA from U of A Fayetteville and Arkansas teacher certification from Henderson State University.
